Disney Legend Bob Gurr Immortalized in New Funko POP! Figure Revealed at WonderCon

Calling all Autopia and Matterhorn fans! If you're a fan of Disney's iconic rides and attractions, then you'll want to keep an eye out for the latest addition to the Funko POP! lineup. That's right, a new Bob Gurr Funko POP! was unveiled at WonderCon in Anaheim, and it's coming soon!

Thanks to Twitter user @FunkoPOPsNews, fans got a sneak peek of the Disney Legend and Imagineer immortalized in vinyl. The Bob Gurr Funko POP! features his signature black, beady eyes, and depicts the 91-year-old designer wearing a Hawaiian shirt and khakis, while holding a tiki mug.

Bob Gurr's contributions to Disney are numerous, from designing the Autopia cars and Monorail, to the Matterhorn Bobsleds and the Omnimover ride system used in The Haunted Mansion. He was one of the last Imagineers who worked alongside Walt Disney himself and was hired by Walt in 1954 to work for WED Enterprises, which later became Walt Disney Imagineering.

But Bob Gurr isn't the only Disney icon getting the Funko POP! treatment this year. Walt Disney himself is also getting a few Pops of his own, along with plenty of other Disney characters to celebrate the Disney100 celebration.

Although a release date for the Bob Gurr Funko POP! has not been announced, we're eagerly anticipating its arrival. Will you be adding the Bob Gurr Funko POP! to your collection? Let us know in the comments below!
